Dear Friends and Colleagues
On the occasion of the 68th ISSF General Assembly, I wish to express my deep gratitude and my personal appreciation for the confidence you have shown in me through my election as an ISSF Vice-President.
Be assured that I will always act in the best interest of our sport and that the commitment I have shown to the ISSF and in particular the ISSF Academy will continue and expand with renewed vigour.
I take the wise words of Honorary President Olegario Vázquez Raña and former ISSF Secretary General Franz Schreiber to heart, and that is to unite behind the new leadership of the ISSF and to reunite our beloved sport.
To this effect, I commit myself to the sport of shooting under the new leadership of ISSF President Vladimir Lisin and ISSF Secretary General Alexander Ratner. I believe we have an excellent and talented new leadership in place that will drive the shooting sport to new highs within the Olympic movement but also in the wider development of our sport at grass roots level. This new leadership deserves our full support as they begin the journey of protecting and enhancing our sport in the Olympic Games.
I ask you to join me in working together for the future of our sport and the benefit of our national federations, our athletes, coaches and officials in a spirit of harmony and unity.
